Para comprobar la tensión de la cadena, levante la cadena inferior. No debe haber más de 2,5 centímetros de deflexión.

Para apretar la cadena, comience por aflojar las dos tapas de rosca en la parte superior del cárter utilizando la llave Allen de 0,47 cm.

Use la llave Allen de 0,47 cm para apretar los tornillos de la parte frontal de la placa. Esto aprieta la cadena. Cuando la tensión de la cadena esté correcta, apriete los 2 tornillos de cabeza en la parte superior del cárter. Si al hacer la comprobación la tensión de la cadena ya es la correcta, es una buena idea comprobar igualmente la estanqueidad de los 2 tornillos.

Apriete el tornillo del piñón trasero con la llave hexagonal de 0,40 cm. El piñón dentado debe estar centrado de izquierda a derecha en el eje trasero cuando se aprieta.
